The POWERplus Narwhal is a solar USB charger with 2 x 3.5W = 7W solar cells which can give an effective output of 5W in sunny conditions.

The Narwhal special shape makes it very suitable to attach on a backpack or to attach on a camping tent for charging.

The charging PCB integrated in the Narwhal has an auto-restart function which makes an ‘electronic handshake’ with the device every 5 minutes. This prevends the connected mobile phone or device will set the charging current in a very low safe mode when clouds lowers the charging current generated by the solar cell.

This makes the Narwhal suitable to use with the latest mobile phones and latest firmware releases.
